TABOULI
Tabouli is a delicious Lebanese salad. It is easy to make, is very healthy and tastes delicious.
The ingredients of tabouli include many fresh vegetables. First of all, for 8 servings you will need 3 bunches of chopped parsley, 1 cup of crushed wheat soaked in water, 1 cup of chopped green onions, 6 red tomatoes chopped in cubes, the juice of 2 lemons, 3 leaves of mint , salt to taste and ½ cup of extra virgin oil.
Second, in a big bowl, put the wheat soaked drained off excess water. Immediately add the tomatoes, until the wheat absorbed the juice, next add the parsley, and mix a wooden spoon is best. Continue adding the green onion, salt, olive oil and continue mixing the ingredients. If you feel that needs more moisture, add a little bit of lemons juice and olive oil.
Finally, put the salad bowl in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. You can serve it with lettuce like a taco, or in pita bread. This succulent salad is wealthy in vitamins A, C. and fiber, and is easy to make
