Reid Park Zoo was founded in 1975. It was unofficially established by Gene Reid, he was a rich men who lived in Tucson. The park is located at 1100 Randolph Way in the center of Tucson.
There are many activities for kids at Reid Park. First of all the children can enjoy the Zoo. There are more than 400 animals such as rhinos, elephants, anteaters, polar bears, lions, and an aviary. There are also two lakes with ducks, a train ride around the lake and several playgrounds. In addition, the park has Edith Ball Aquatic Center with swimming classes for all ages and a kids’ swimming area. Reid Park also has a bike and walking path for kids and adults.
